Environmental Studies

My research in environmental studies began with my dissertation and was prompted by Scott Farrow at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. There, my dissertation focused on the National Flood Insurance Program and analyzed the socioeconomic costs and benefits of the program. I gave some talks and wrote some articles, mostly for general audiences. In a fit of interdisciplinarity, I lumped all this together as “Flood Studies,” one day.

This page pulls together everything I’ve done on environmental studies, both flood studies, and otherwise.
