Other Records & Registrations

These organizations later recorded or described the arms already granted in Malta. Their roles differ, and none replaces, amends, or supplies the authority for Letters Patent G0102. Where a later body uses a different blazoning style, the original Maltese Letters Patent remain the controlling grant.

American Armigers

The American Armigers Register is a private registry for arms used in the United States. It recorded my Maltese grant under number AA0183 on 20 June 2025, including the arms, crest, and motto. This record documents existing arms; it is not itself a grant from a public heraldic authority.

You may download the registration certificate here.

Heraldry of the World

The arms also appear in Heraldry of the World, a public reference database of civic, institutional, and personal heraldry. The listing improves discoverability but is neither a legal registration nor a grant of arms.

NEHGS Committee on Heraldry

The Committee on Heraldry of American Ancestors, formerly the New England Historic Genealogical Society, is a non-governmental scholarly and genealogical body. At its meeting of 28 October 2025, it accepted the Maltese grant for its record of modern arms. Its plain- English descriptive conventions produce a shorter alternate blazon:

Silver a tetrahedron azure pierced by a sword bendwise gold, hilt and pommel azure. Crest—A martlet sable.

That wording is the Committee’s record of the arms, not a replacement for the Maltese text. You may download the Committee’s letter.

American College of Heraldry

The American College of Heraldry is a private heraldic organization. It registered the existing Maltese arms under number 4855 on 10 February 2026. Its certificate uses another descriptive convention:

Argent a triangle Azure charged with a fillet pall inverted Argent pierced in bend by a sword Or with pommel and hilt of the second. Crest—A martlet close Sable.

This registration documents the existing grant and does not create or reconfirm its legal authority. You may download the registration certificate.
